Boracay Beach is now live on the Internet with its own beach resort webcam located at Ariel’s House Beachfront Bar, part of the Boracay Beach Club. The view from the Boracay beach webcam looks southwest and shows the beauty of the famous white beach and promotes the Boracay water sports vacation lifestyle: snorkeling, paraw sailing, kiteboarding, jet skiing, banana boat riding, sunset cruising, day sailing and cliff diving.

MyCam-Asia.tv – a free travel services website that provides real-time advertising and promotion for tourist destinations around Asia – yesterday announced the installation of their first IP camera (webcam) on Boracay Beach.

The was a Boracay beach webcam before but the view was so unattractive that nobody was interested in it. At Airel’s House Beachfront Bar you get to see the real Boracay beach with sun seekers, beachcombers, boats, sunsets and a view across to Nasog Point on Panay Island. Around the corner from Nasog Point is Ariel’s Point which is the only place in the Philippines where you can go cliff diving.

Cliff diving is the latest craze to hit the Philippines and Ariel’s Point is the only place to do it. With a range of diving platforms & diving boards (up to 15 meters) and the crystal clear Sulu Sea (twenty feet deep and deeper) to dive into, Ariel’s Point panders to all levels of courage and bravado. On any given day you will find twenty to fifty jumpers, divers and daring companions taking the 30-minute trip out to Ariel’s Point for an afternoon of food and fun in the sun.

Cliff diving enthusiasts and curious onlookers muster at the Beachfront Bar around 11:30 each day and take the short, motorized banka and/or speed boat trip. Once aboard the boats the open-bar plies the revelers with dutch-courage sufficient to achieve any height of jump or dive. Upon arrival at Ariel’s Point a buffet feast is ready to sustain for the afternoon. An afternoon of cliff diving action and fun at Ariel’s Point cost only Php1,200, inclusive of transport, food, drink and as many jumps/dives as you can fit in before sundown.

It is possible one day that a cliff diving webcam will be also installed at the Ariel’s Point but at the time of writing there was no Internet signal available at the cliff diving site so, until Smart of Globe can get their act together, you will have to be satisfied with this Boracay beach webcam instead.
