If you are a travel agent you need to use this website. For all you travel agents out there who did not know how to recommend places in the Philippines to sports enthusiasts. A new website covering all sports in the Philippines is now on the Internet and packed full of the information that your clients will want to know.

The AllSportsPhilippines website provides a list of all sports available in the Philippines plus information about how to get to each location, what type of accommodation is available at each location, the nearest airport, alternative airports (if flights are no available at the nearest airport), links to the airlines that ply each route to each destination and much much more.

The website was conceived by GetWet-Asia after getting tired of answering one-on-one questions about the best place to do this and the best place to do that, so they designed a website that would answer all the questions. GetWet-Asia partnered with the extraordinary talents of Internet gurus Lemon Sky Design to bring the website to the World through the Internet.

As a travel agent you need to know; AllSportsPhilippines.com delivers. Never again will you be stumped when someone asks the question: “can I go caving in the Philippines?” or “where can I go kayaking and scuba diving and river trekking in one place in the Philippines” or “can I fly direct to Siargao for surfing”. All the answers are on the All Sports Philippines website.

The Philippines has long been regarded as the adventure sports capital of Asia but nobody knew where to find the information, before now. With around 40 sports available (not including netball or rounders . . . sorry! basketball and baseball) there is information here about almost every possible sport activity that you can imagine, with the notable exception of snow sports – there are no snow sports in the Philippines . . . Winter is an alien concept in the tropical paradise of the Philippines, except in the larger malls.

Photography on the website is excellent, displaying awesome images, including: surfing, sailing, river trekking, caving, skimboarding, kayaking, wakeboarding to name but a few of the sports depicted in action photographs taken by some of the best action sports photographers in the country.

The opening page is the main selection page for sports activities. Click on a sport and you will see all the places where that sport is available, showing three different levels of availability (everything provided; maybe you should check whether you need to bring gear; and, places where equipment is definitely not provided but the location is super for the sport).

The airline route finder is simply amazing. Choose where you expect to fly from and where you want to fly to and you will get a list of possible routes and airlines that fly those routes. Click the link to an airline’s own website and you can book right there, online, the moment you have chosen your sport and destination.

By the end of the year the website will include local package partners and all upcoming sports events, filtered by sport and or location. You will always know what to recommend to your clients when they want to get involved with sports.

Other related news is supplied by Lemon Sky Design’s new social media software: Tarsier Social. Tarsier Social will collate all relevant Facebook, Twitter and other social network feeds into the website, so that you will never miss out on a single item of news about tourism focused sports in the Philippines.

Talking to Lemon Sky Design’s development team we learned that an AllSportsPhilippines, GPS enabled App for smartphones is in the works for 2014. The App will be launched with competitions for the most places visited in a given time period.

Don’t just read about it, go visit the website now and check out the tools and gadgets available. Then watch it over the coming two months for all other other inclusions. The website maybe a work in progress but right now it is already the most valuable resource for discovering where to engage in active sport in the Philippines.
